Day 1 // ARRIVAL
Arrival in Bali airport + transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 // BALI - ENDE
Hotel pick-up for our flight from Bali to Ende. Arrival on Flores island. Visit of Wolotopo village and its local textile workers.
Day 3 // MONI – KELIMUTU LAKE – MONI
Departure at the break of dawn to see the 3 amazing crater lakes of Mount Kelimutu and their unexplained colors, before continuing towards Murukeba waterfall. Relaxed afternoon on Koka Beach.
Day 4 // MONI – ENDE – RIUNG
Road to Riung going through Nangapenda, the splendid blue stone beach.
Day 5 // DAY IN RIUNG NATIONAL PARK
Boat day in this paradise made of 17 islands. Swimming and snorkeling will be rocked at the pace of an unforgettable barbecue on the beach of Rutong island. End of day on Kalong island habitat of tens of thousands of giants bats, called "flying foxes".
Day 6 // RIUNG - BAJAWA
Road to Bajawa, happily cut in half with a stopover at Mangeruda hot water springs.
Day 7 // BAJAWA
Wawo Muda volcano, smaller brother of Kelimutu and its recent (2001) craters full of small lakes with dark orange water. Visit of Bajawa's local market before heading to traditional village of Bena. On the way back, we will go to Mount Wolobobo for an unreal sunset above the clouds.
Day 8 // BAJAWA - RUTENG - DINTOR
Aimere and its local distillery called "Arak" made of palm juice. Liang Bua cave, area where the Man of Flores, nicknamed "hobbit", was born more than 100.000 years ago, contradicting academic theories.
Day 9 // DINTOR - WAE REBO
Walking along Wae Lomba river and through Pocorok highlands we will engage in a long walk to the exceptional traditional village of Wae Rebo, a place where time stands still. We will close the day with an Mbata performance, local fighting dance, existing only in western Flores.
Day 10 // WAE REBO - LABUAN BAJO
In a path taken only by locals, we will get to Labuan Bajo. In the evening your taste buds will go crazy when you'll try local grilled fish straight from the fish market.
Days 11-12 / / KOMODO – KANAWA – RINCA – PADAR – KELOR
2 days, 1 night on a boat with the long awaited moment: Rinca & Komodo islands and their infamous Dragons! Pink Beach and its pink sand. Not to mention Kanawa Island, another piece of white sand heaven and crystal crlea waters. Karang Makassar (Manta Point) to see manta rays. Night of day 12 will be spent back in Labuan Bajo in a nice hotel to relax before the trip back on Day 13.
Day 13 // TRIP BACK
After our last night in Labuan Bajo, our heavy hearts will head to the airport for our flight to Bali and our trip back to the real world.
