DAY 1 // WELCOMING YOU IN LIMA

Arrival in Lima Jorge Chavez international airport. Transfer to your hotel. Our English speaking guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Night in Britania hotel.

Day 2 // LIMA

Visit of the Peruvian capital city. Colonial neighborhoods as well as Plaza San Martin and Plaza Armas. Free afternoon Night in Britania hotel.

Day 3 // LIMA – CUSCO

Transfer to Lima airport for our flight to Cusco. Free afternoon to adapt to altitude.
Diner in El Cajon del Ñaupa restaurant
Night in Mama Sara hotel.

Day 4 // SACSAYHUAMAN – TAMBOMACHAY – PUCA PUCARA – Q’ENQO

Visit of one of the first and most amazing ruins of the country. Who built Sacsayhuaman? Night in Mama Sara hotel.

Day 5 // CUSCO

Visit of the city and its megalithic and unexplained features before heading to Inka museum.
Night in Mama Sara hotel.

Day 6 // TIPON – PIKILLACTA – ANDAHUYALILLAS

Cusco Valley discovery via Tipon, sanctuary dedicated to water, Piquillacta, one of the most spectacular remains of the Wari culture. Icing on the cake, visit of the private museum of Andahuayalillas where we will find one of the most unique and unexplained skeletons ever. Night in Mama Sara hotel.

Jour 7 // TIPON – PIKILLACTA – ANDAHUYALILLAS

Off to the Incas Sacred Valley. Whole day in Ollantaytambo, one of the country’s major sites. We’ll see the almighty Ollantaytambo fortress. We’ll also visit the Ollantaytambo village. At the end of the day we will hop on a train to Aguas Calientes, starting point for Machu Picchu. Night in Terraza de luna hotel.

Day 8 // MACHU PICCHU

At the break of dawn the first shuttle leaves for Machu Picchu, wonder of the world! In spite of the new regulation implemented in July 2017 limiting the access to the site to 3 hours, our local contacts will allow to stay on the site up to 6/7 hours. The official story is that Machu Picchu was a 15th century Inca city. Abandoned when the Inca empire collapsed the city emobides the architectural know-how of the ancients. Machu Picchu is now one of the 7 new wonders of the world and gives us reasons to think that the Incas did not built Machu Picchu, but simply inherited the site. Train back to Ollantaytambo. Night in Tunupa hotel.

Day 9 // SACRED VALLEY – MARAS – PISAC

Maras salt mines, since the inca time, this place helped gather salted water which turns into salt after evaporation. Then the Pisac ruins, another major site of the inca culture. Huge terrasses meant for agriculture. Night in Mama Sara hotel.

Day 10 // CUSCO – LA PAZ

Transfer to Cusco airport for international flight to La Paz (Bolivia).
Free afternoon in La Paz. Discover the historical center, shop on Sagárnaga street, learn about the offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth) in the “witch market”, or visit one of the many museums of the city

Day 11// PUMA PUNKU

Whole day in Tiwanaku to visit pre-colombian ruins, among the most important ones of the continent with Puma Punku as the leading site, one of the most enigmatic places on Earth. Puma Punku challenges all official theories about our ancient past.

Day 12// LA PAZ – BOLIVIAN CAPIAL CITY

From different view points, you will be amazed by the incredible sights unfolding before our very eyes. During one whole day we will discover together La Paz, highest capital city in the world. At night, party time at Peña Huari restaurant. In Bolivia, “peñas” are bars and restaurants where traditional music is played. We will get to see local traditional dances as well. Each one is represented by colors and costumes of their own. Night in Europa***** Hotel
